Hollow Cast Bronze British Fox Sculpture
Introducing the captivating British Fox : Slinky hollow cast bronze sculpture, created by renowned bronze artist John Cox of Escar UK Bronze
Beautifully capturing the stealth, grace and alertness of one of Britain’s most recognisable woodland animals, this striking sculpture portrays Slinky with his head held low as he quietly stalks through the undergrowth, ready to investigate the slightest movement
Expertly crafted using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting Method, this hollow cast bronze sculpture showcases exceptional attention to detail, from the texture of the fox’s coat and bushy tail to the natural stance that perfectly reflects the animal’s cautious character
Finished with an attractive brown patination with highlights, the carefully applied colouring enhances the fine sculptural details, bringing warmth, depth and realism to this impressive wildlife study
Measuring approximately 34cm high x 32cm wide x 112cm long and weighing around 17 kilos, Slinky the British Fox makes an eye-catching addition to gardens, country homes, estates and wildlife collections
A wonderful celebration of British wildlife and timeless bronze craftsmanship, Slinky is a characterful sculpture that brings elegance, movement and natural beauty to any indoor or outdoor setting
Which details of Slinky’s Bronze Sculpture reflect the form of a British Fox?
Slinky combines a low stalking posture with an alert face, textured coat and long bushy tail. Those features make the British fox recognisable while the elongated body suggests stealthy movement. At approximately 112cm long but only 34cm high, the sculpture benefits from low planting that does not hide the pose
