Hollow Cast Bronze Alette Fairy in Silver Bodice Sculpture
Alette in a Silver Bodice is a charming hollow cast bronze commissioned fairy sculpture designed by Joy Cox of Escar UK Bronze. Gracefully seated upon a natural rock, she captures the elegance, beauty and timeless enchantment traditionally associated with fairy folklore
Expertly crafted using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting method, every delicate detail has been carefully sculpted to reflect the exceptional artistry and craftsmanship for which Escar UK Bronze is renowned. From her finely modelled wings and flowing dress to her serene expression, Alette embodies the magic and imagination of the fairy world
Finished with a beautiful combination of silver, blue, black, white and skin-tone patination, the carefully applied colouring enhances every intricate detail while adding depth, elegance and character to the sculpture. The harmonious blend of tones creates a striking appearance that complements both indoor and outdoor surroundings
Measuring approximately 29cm high, 22cm wide and 35cm long, and weighing around 5 kilos, Alette is ideally proportioned for gardens, patios, conservatories, homes or private collections. Her graceful pose and elegant styling allow her to become an attractive focal point wherever she is displayed
Alette in a Silver Bodice is a delightful celebration of fantasy, imagination and fine bronze craftsmanship. Whether purchased as a treasured gift or as part of an existing fairy collection, she brings timeless charm and a touch of enchantment to every setting
How does Alette’s silver bodice enhance her bronze finish?
Alette’s silver-coloured bodice creates a cool contrast with the blue, dark and skin tones of the sculpture. It draws the eye towards the upper body while the wings, dress and rock complete the seated composition. This is a coloured finish on bronze, giving this version a different visual emphasis from the gold and brown bodices
