Hollow Cast Bronze Alette Fairy in Brown Bodice Sculpture
Alette in a Brown Bodice is a charming hollow cast bronze commissioned fairy sculpture designed by Joy Cox of Escar UK Bronze. Gracefully seated upon a natural rock, she captures the elegance, beauty and enchantment traditionally associated with fairy folklore
Expertly crafted using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting method, every delicate detail has been carefully sculpted to reflect the exceptional artistry and craftsmanship for which Escar UK Bronze is renowned. From her finely modelled wings and flowing dress to her serene expression, Alette embodies the timeless magic of the fairy world
Finished with a beautiful combination of brown, blue, black, yellow and skin-tone patination, the carefully applied colouring enhances the intricate detailing while bringing warmth, depth and character to the sculpture. The harmonious blend of colours creates a striking yet natural appearance suitable for both indoor and outdoor display
Measuring approximately 29cm high, 22cm wide and 35cm long, and weighing around 5 kilos, Alette is ideally proportioned for gardens, patios, conservatories, homes or private collections. Her graceful pose and compact size allow her to become an attractive focal point wherever she is displayed
Alette in a Brown Bodice is a delightful celebration of fantasy, imagination and fine bronze craftsmanship. Whether purchased as a treasured gift or as part of an existing fairy collection, she brings timeless charm and a touch of enchantment to every setting
How does Alette’s brown bodice influence her appearance?
Alette’s brown bodice gives the seated fairy a warm, earthy centre, contrasting with the blue and other colours in the patination. It suits the natural rock on which she rests and helps connect the figure visually with a garden setting. The compact, approximately 29cm-high sculpture rewards close viewing of the wings and dress
