Description
Bronze Asian Sitting Piper : Small
Look first at the flute, then follow the musician’s hands towards his face. The Small Bronze Asian Sitting Piper invites this kind of close attention: its cross-legged pose holds the composition together, while the instrument gives the seated figure a sense of purpose. The scene is calm, but there is plenty to discover in the modelling of the garments and expression
Blue and gold patination brings colour to the clothing, with skin-tone highlights drawing out the face and hands. Seen on a table or in a study, the contrast between these finishes helps the details remain distinct. This small bronze Asian figure can also become a point of interest in a courtyard or smaller garden setting.
A Smaller Piper with a Substantial Presence
Approximately 45cm high and weighing around 9 kilos, this is the smallest of the three sitting pipers. Those proportions offer more flexibility when planning a display, although the sculpture still needs a stable surface suitable for its weight. Leave enough room around it to see the outline of the seated musician rather than crowding it among other objects
Made in hollow cast bronze using the Lost Wax Bronze Casting Method, the Small Sitting Piper brings the flute-playing subject into a more compact format. It is an inviting choice for someone who enjoys figurative sculpture at close quarters, where the coloured finish, folds of the garments and carefully modelled instrument, can be appreciated together.
Why choose a Small Bronze Sitting Piper Sculpture?
The small sitting piper offers the flute, seated pose and coloured bronze detail in a more compact version of the design. It stands approximately 45cm high and weighs around 9kg. The blue, gold and skin-tone finish helps distinguish the clothing, instrument and face, making it an engaging piece for close viewing
