Bronze Figures : Life Size Family on a Bench
Hollow Cast Bronze Life Size Family Figures on a Bench Statues
The Life Size Family on a Bench is an impressive hollow cast bronze sculpture created by bronze artist John Cox of Escar UK Bronze in 2008. Depicting a family of four seated together on a bench, this heartwarming composition captures a relaxed moment of family life, togetherness and affection
Expertly crafted using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting Method, each figure has been carefully sculpted to achieve a natural sense of character, expression and individuality. The detailed modelling captures the relaxed poses and interaction between the family members, creating a lifelike bronze composition designed to be appreciated from every angle
Finished in a distinctive combination of brown, blue, grey, blonde and skin-tone patinations, the sculpture uses contrasting colours to define the clothing, hair and individual features of each family member. These carefully applied finishes add depth and character while highlighting the detailed textures preserved in the bronze
Created at life size, Family on a Bench makes a substantial focal point for gardens, parks, hotels, public spaces and landscaped settings. The familiar seated composition also encourages interaction, giving the sculpture an approachable character that works particularly well in locations where it can become part of its surroundings
Family on a Bench can be enjoyed as shown or provide inspiration for a private commission representing your own family. A bespoke bronze family sculpture offers the opportunity to preserve individual likenesses and relationships in a lasting work of bronze art created for generations to enjoy
How can a Family on a Bench commission tell a personal story in bronze?
A family-on-a-bench commission can tell a story through the way relatives sit together, their expressions, clothing and familiar gestures. This life-size group of four shows how individual figures can form one shared scene. For a personal commission, discuss reference photographs and relationships as well as likeness, so the arrangement reflects the family
