Red Deer Fighting Stags : The Rut is a magnificent pair of life-size hollow cast bronze sculptures created by renowned bronze artist John Cox of Escar UK Bronze. Beautifully capturing one of Britain’s most dramatic wildlife spectacles, these powerful stags portray two evenly matched rivals locked in battle during the annual rutting season, celebrating the raw strength, instinct and determination of the natural world.
Expertly created using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting method, these exceptional sculptures showcase the outstanding craftsmanship for which Escar UK Bronze is renowned. Every carefully sculpted muscle, branching antler, straining neck and dynamic movement has been faithfully reproduced with remarkable precision, creating an extraordinary sense of realism, tension and controlled power.
Finished with a beautifully blended beige, brown and black patination, the sculptures possess exceptional depth, realism and natural character.
