Bronze Insect : Buzz the Fly
Hollow Cast Bronze Buzz the Fly Insect Sculpture
Introducing Buzz the Fly, a delightful hollow cast bronze insect sculpture created by renowned bronze artist John Cox of Escar UK Bronze.
Designed to complement both the Itsy Bitsy Spider sculpture and the Spider’s Web Table, Buzz adds a playful finishing touch to the collection, bringing a touch of humour and natural charm to gardens, patios or interior displays.
Expertly crafted using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting method, this hollow cast bronze sculpture captures the distinctive features of a fly with remarkable precision, from its detailed wings and expressive eyes to the carefully modelled body and delicate legs.
Finished with an attractive black and gold highlighted patination, the carefully applied colouring enhances the intricate textures and character of the sculpture, creating a striking yet light-hearted work of bronze art.
Measuring approximately 6cm high x 16cm wide x 19cm long and weighing around 1 kilo, Buzz the Fly is perfectly proportioned to sit on the Spider’s Web Table, alongside Itsy Bitsy Spider, or as a charming stand-alone sculpture.
Combining traditional bronze craftsmanship with imaginative design, Buzz the Fly is a unique sculpture that brings personality, humour and lasting beauty to any collection.
Where could Buzz the bronze fly add an unexpected detail to a display?
Buzz can sit on a sturdy shelf, table or beside the Spider’s Web Table as a small detail discovered at close range. His approximately 19cm length makes the wings and eyes easy to notice without dominating a display. Leave space around the legs and avoid an edge where the sculpture could be knocked.
