Hollow Cast Bronze Greyhound Dog Sculpture : Brindle
Bronze Greyhound : Brindle Coat is an elegant hollow cast bronze sculpture created by renowned bronze artist John Cox of Escar UK Bronze. Beautifully capturing the speed, grace and athletic elegance for which the Greyhound is celebrated, this life-size sculpture perfectly reflects the breed’s refined proportions, quiet confidence and effortless poise
Expertly created using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting method, this exceptional sculpture showcases the outstanding craftsmanship for which Escar UK Bronze is renowned. Every carefully sculpted detail, from the finely defined musculature and streamlined physique to the alert expression and naturally balanced stance, has been faithfully reproduced with remarkable precision, creating a lifelike study of one of the world’s most graceful dog breeds
Finished in a distinctive brindle brown patination with subtle bronze highlights, the sculpture displays exceptional depth, texture and natural realism. The carefully applied finish accentuates the flowing lines of the Greyhound’s elegant form while beautifully recreating the rich colouring and refined appearance associated with the brindle coat
Standing approximately 95cm high, 20cm wide and 120cm long, and weighing around 36 kilos, this impressive sculpture creates a striking focal point for gardens, entranceways, patios or spacious interior settings. Its elegant proportions and timeless styling allow it to complement both traditional and contemporary surroundings with equal distinction
Representing speed, loyalty and quiet dignity, Brindle Coat is far more than a decorative bronze sculpture. It is a timeless work of bronze art that will be treasured by Greyhound enthusiasts, collectors and anyone who appreciates exceptional craftsmanship and beautifully observed animal sculpture
How does the brindle finish enhance this bronze greyhound sculpture?
The brindle brown finish introduces coat markings across the Greyhound’s lean body, while highlights help define the muscles and slender contours. It gives this version a more patterned surface than the plain brown alternatives. An uncluttered setting allows both the markings and the approximately 120cm-long silhouette to remain clear
