Finished with an attractive brown patination with highlights, the carefully applied colouring enhances the sculpture’s texture and intricate detail, giving Dog Bones a unique character and timeless appeal.
Measuring approximately 46cm high x 35cm wide x 60cm long and weighing around 5 kilos, the Bronze Dog Bones : Skeleton Dog Sculpture is ideal for homes, galleries, veterinary practices or anyone with an appreciation for unusual and imaginative bronze artwork.
A wonderfully original piece that blends artistic craftsmanship with a touch of humour, Dog Bones : Skeleton Dog is a memorable addition to any bronze collection.
How does the Dog Bones sculpture turn a canine skeleton into a playful bronze subject?
Dog Bones combines a recognisable seated dog pose with the unexpected sight of a canine skeleton. That contrast gives the sculpture its playful character, while the modelled bones reward closer inspection. Brown patination with highlights separates the skeletal forms, making the approximately 60cm-long figure readable as both a dog and an unusual bronze subject.
