Hollow Cast Bronze Figure : Lily Pouring Water from a Jug
The Lily Pouring Water from a Jug hollow cast bronze sculpture is a graceful creation by renowned bronze artist John Cox of Escar UK Bronze. Depicting Lily elegantly pouring water from her jug, this beautifully composed sculpture combines timeless bronze artistry with the soothing appeal of a decorative water feature.
Expertly crafted using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting method, every detail has been meticulously sculpted to create a lifelike balance of realism and artistic expression. The exceptional quality of the hollow cast bronze reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Escar UK Bronze has become renowned
From Lily’s gentle facial expression and flowing hair to the delicate folds of her dress and carefully modelled water jug, every element has been thoughtfully executed with remarkable precision. The attractive blue, black and skin tones patination enhances the contours and textures of the bronze, adding warmth, depth and lasting character throughout the sculpture
Measuring approximately 47cm high x 30cm wide x 26cm deep and weighing around 6 kilos, this elegant bronze sculpture is ideally suited to gardens, patios, courtyards, ponds and indoor displays. Whether installed as a working water feature or displayed as a decorative sculpture, Lily creates a peaceful focal point in both traditional and contemporary settings
Combining graceful design with exceptional bronze craftsmanship, Lily Pouring Water from a Jug is a timeless celebration of elegance and tranquillity. Its refined composition and enduring quality make it a beautiful addition to any collection of handcrafted bronze sculpture
How does pouring water complete the scene in Lily’s bronze sculpture?
Flowing water makes the action suggested by Lily’s tilted jug visible, turning a still pouring pose into a small moving scene. It also adds sound and reflections around the bronze figure. Lily can be displayed dry, but a working installation should position the jug above a basin that catches the flow
