Expertly created using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting Method, this exceptional sculpture showcases the outstanding craftsmanship for which Escar UK Bronze is renowned. Every carefully sculpted detail, from Pippin’s expressive face and pointed ears to the folds of his clothing and the delicate pages of his open book, has been faithfully reproduced with remarkable precision
Finished in an attractive brown patination with highlights and natural skin tones, the sculpture displays exceptional warmth, depth and visual character throughout the bronze surface. The carefully applied finish enhances every sculpted feature, bringing this delightful fantasy character vividly to life
Measuring approximately 28cm high, 30cm wide and 55cm long, and weighing around 8 kilos, Pippin is ideally suited to gardens, patios, conservatories, offices, libraries and interior display spaces. Its compact size and engaging design make it a delightful addition to both private collections and fantasy-themed settings
Celebrating imagination, storytelling and the enduring appeal of handcrafted bronze art, Pippin Reading a Book is far more than a decorative sculpture. This enchanting creation reflects the artistry, quality and attention to detail that have become synonymous with Escar UK Bronze
How could Pippin Reading a Book become part of a quiet garden corner?
Place Pippin near a garden bench or secluded seating area, with his face and open book directed towards the viewer. Low planting can frame the seated elf without covering the story. His approximately 28cm height means a small, stable plinth may help him remain visible above foliage
