Bronze White-tailed Standing Buck
Hollow Cast Bronze White-tailed Buck Standing Garden Sculpture
The White-tailed Standing Buck hollow cast bronze sculpture from Escar UK Bronze is a magnificent study of one of nature’s most elegant and admired deer. Created in 2008 by renowned bronze artist John Cox, this impressive sculpture captures the strength, alertness and quiet dignity of a mature white-tailed buck in a beautifully balanced standing pose
Expertly crafted using the traditional Lost Wax Bronze Casting method, every detail has been carefully sculpted, from the impressive antlers and muscular frame to the finely textured coat and natural stance. The rich brown patination with subtle highlights enhances the realistic features while adding warmth and depth to the finished bronze
Standing approximately 135cm high, 58cm wide and 82cm long, and weighing around 35 kilos, this striking sculpture is perfectly suited to gardens, country homes, estates, wildlife parks or prestigious commercial settings. Whether displayed as a standalone feature or as part of a larger wildlife collection, it creates a commanding focal point that celebrates the beauty of the natural world
Combining exceptional craftsmanship with timeless artistic appeal, the White-tailed Standing Buck is a superb example of the quality and attention to detail for which Escar UK Bronze has been renowned since 1985
Which features give the standing bronze white-tailed buck an alert expression?
The standing posture, modelled face and antlers give the white-tailed buck a watchful appearance. The brown patination with highlights helps define the features and separate the head from the rest of the body. An open backdrop is useful for this approximately 135cm-high sculpture, allowing the expression and antler outline to remain visible.
